WORKHORSE® Rifle and Pistol : The WORKHORSE® Rifle and Pistol are the entry model into this series of firearms. Every single WORKHORSE® is built upon this foundation. On the upper receiver, we “notch” cut the 1913 Picatinny rail to reduce unneeded weight and give a clean look throughout the gun. Features like a threaded bolt catch screw instead of a roll-pin to increase the ease of installation, a threaded takedown pin detent and spring groove to add the option to capture the spring and detent in the rear which guarantees that if the buffer system ever came apart that you would retain these crucial parts, the addition of an upper/lower tension screw to make sure that the optimal fit is had between the upper and lower, and short-throw markings for the selector ensuring that it is always clear whether you are on safe or fire. This can be seen in the subtle details we added to the lower receiver. These receivers are not only to exact MIL-SPEC in the areas you would expect but as stated before we wanted to leave MIL-SPEC in the past with a new baseline standard. We cut no corners here with the foundation of the gun. The WORKHORSE® line of firearms are built on our premium forged receiver set. We wanted to leave “MIL-SPEC” in the past with this gun and create a new baseline standard that proves innovation and out-of-the-box thinking can create something that would not only make us proud to produce but also that our customers would love for the rest of their life. Look a bit more closely and you will find this duty line of rifles are not so "plain jane" It is loaded with numerous enhanced components such as a smooth nickel Teflon trigger, enhanced magazine release, enhanced takedown/pivot pins for easy tool-less breakdown, one-piece magazine catch, billet trigger guard, enhanced bolt catch, user-adjustable three-position pistol grip, and enhanced single side safety. Each barrel is individually head-spaced with a matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier for ultimate reliability and ease of cleaning. Every firearm is equipped with a 4150 chrome-moly steel black nitride barrel for durability and accuracy. At 12 o'clock is a full-length Picatinny accessory rail with our signature notch cut matching the upper receiver. It is purpose-built around the forged BAD-15 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum receiver and free-float rail handguard with M-LOK attachment point at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
